In our new facilities, we have the capacity and the capability to produce Profiles to the exacting standards expected in today’s market, on time every time.

Our extended Gas cutting machines will cut up to 200mm thick, and we can accommodate Plates up to 23.8m x 3m to a maximum Plate weight of 25 tonnes. New HD Plasma machinery, up to 400A, gives a cutting range of 1mm to 45mm thick. Principal advantages are cut quality with minimal dressing (we only cut with the optimum gas mix), cutting speed, accuracy and repeatability. All our facilities are supported by CAD, send us your drawings in DSTV or DXF format so we can upload directly into our machines, this saves time (and leadtime) and reduces the error rate.

To complement our Profiling activity we have extended our drilling capability.

Our Plate Drills are uptodate CNC machines, capable of utilising the latest carbide tipped drills. Our V200 has a feed system that eliminates time consuming setup and clamping. Large tables mean we can process Plates up to 1m x 1.4m (longer by repositioning), thicknesses 6mm to 60mm and a maximum 600kg weight. We can drill, tap & countersink. This works in tandem with a newly installed CMA Drill, ideal for thicker / heavier pieces and highly effeicient when processing repeat items.

Within the Murray Group we are processing in excess of 20,000T of Plates annually, we have the appropriate machine setup to meet every need.
